Later on during our first trip to Oz, we travelled down to Melbourne to visit Christine's cousins who had emigrated some 20 years previously - and during this trip south we were able to visit the Dzum kennels. Their Afghans all had such fantastic temperaments and it was then that we resolved to import one of their Afghans to the UK. Those who know 'Poppy' - 'Dzum My Girl Lollipop at Harlextan (Imp)' - will vouch for the success of this move !

It was at this show that we had our first introduction to 'Am Ch Applause Majic Show' ( an award or merit in the Champions class ) owned by Cindy Chandler & James Dalton. We resolved to book one of her forthcoming puppies a year later which resulted in the import of the black masked gold 'Fabelhaft could It B Majic at Harlextan (Imp)'. Sired by Janis Reital's fabulous b & t dog 'Am Ch Tifarah's Hi-Flying Victory'
